it looked so ordinary, until I realised the impact the shoes were to make with your family's history!
While i'm not going to be a stickler for the exact positions and placements of the shoes, I must point out though, that it would be good to keep the background and lighting consistent! I noticed that the top most had a bit of dirt in the right side of the picture, and the second picture having a little differnet shade of light on the Father's shoes as compared to the first and third.
In fact, I would think that the third picture had the best contrast, and perhaps the other two would be good to model that.
Having said that, I have no doubt that despite the criticism given, this piece has every right to be an award winning one because of the thought, creativity and originality put into this to create a happy family down the ages of history!
